Our Roots
Dr. Julius B Flynn was a professor at Cheyney University for 42 years. He dedicated many years to preparing students to succeed in life as well in their professional pursuits. When he passed in January of 2021 we thought the best was to honor his legacy was to continue to help students succeed in obtaining their college degrees.
Students, players, friends, mentees, family. We were all impacted in a positive way by our involvement with Dr. Flynn. Whether you called him, coach, professor, dad, uncle, Doc, J.B. or Mr., chances are he was impacting your life uniquely. One of his many passions was Cheyney University where he spent over 40 years teaching, leading various committees, coaching, mentoring students and was an interim administrator.
